Solingua Legal

Cookie Policy

Last updated: August 23, 2026

This policy explains how NovaLingua Labs LLC ("we", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on solingua.app and its subdomains (the "Site").

The short version

The Site sets no tracking cookies unless you allow them. The only optional thing we ask for is Google Analytics, and it stays off until you press Allow. There are no advertising pixels, no social widgets, and no cross-site tracking.

Analytics, only if you allow it

If you consent, we load Google Analytics 4, a service of Google LLC, to understand how the Site is used: how many people visit, which pages they view, and roughly where in the world they visit from. It sets these cookies:

We keep Google Signals and all advertising features switched off, so this data is not used for ads and is not connected to your Google account. Google Analytics does not log or store IP addresses. Data sent to Google in the United States is protected by the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

If you decline, the Google Analytics script is never loaded. If you decline after previously allowing it, we also remove its cookies from your browser.

Your choice

Analytics in this browser is currently: not set.

A change takes effect the next time a page loads. Your choice is stored in your browser's local storage for up to 12 months, after which we ask again. You can also block or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings; the Site works fine without them.

Strictly necessary storage

A few things are needed simply to run the Site, and consent laws do not require permission for them:

Fonts

The Site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts. Your browser's request, including your IP address, goes to Google; Google sets no cookies for this service.

The Solingua app

The Solingua iOS app is not a website and does not use browser cookies. The data the app collects, and how to control it, is described in our Privacy Policy.

Changes and contact

If our use of cookies changes, we will update this page and the date above, and ask for consent again where it is needed. Questions: [email protected].
